What do you like most about VSA?
The most valuable thing about VSA is the organisation’s ability to connect a variety of university students from different degrees and universities and provide a platform where they are able to connect and build relationships. I have met a variety of talented and committed individuals who I have learnt a great deal from!
What would you like to achieve this year?
I hope that 2016 will bring a year of personal development and growth through networking with old and new committee members. No matter how much experience each member has had, I find that I have always been able to learn from the different perspectives of others and why they have chosen to join VSA. It is an enriching and rewarding experience!
Anything interesting about yourself that you would like to share?
If I were to leave this Earth and had the chance to tell everyone three facts about me, they would include:
- You only know me well when you know how much I love Taylor Swift.
- I have a terrible habit of going to 24HR KMARTs (and buying useless aesthetically beautiful homewares).
- I have a strange obsession with plants. My insta says it all

Kevin Tran
Internal Vice President
What do you like most about VSA?
As much as you hear everyone say it, VSA is really like a family. The people in VSA are all amazing and it’s hard not to become friends with them. A solid chunk of my social life now consists of people I’ve met through VSA and that percentage is only growing.
What would you like to achieve this year?
As the IVP for UTS, my main goal for this year is to create a very tight committee. I want to provide an environment for my team that everyone will enjoy. Beyond that, UTS is going through many positive changes this year and hopefully we’ll create a successful foundation for future teams.

What do you like most about VSA?
Besides the free food and valuable skills, what I like most is how VSA acts as a catalyst in bonding everyone together as a big whole family

To keep our members happy and satisfied with a full belly of food!
Anything interesting about yourself that you would like to share?
I love to draw. Like I would actually stay seated on my butt for 6 hours straight just to finish a piece. And still not be 100% happy with the result.
